You'll join a team working on a large ecosystem of interconnected services, shared libraries, REST APIs, asynchronous messaging, and event-driven data flows. The environment includes multiple technologies, databases, and frontend applications, so adaptability and strong engineering judgment are just as important as technical expertise. We’re looking for someone who can quickly understand unfamiliar systems, leverage AI tools effectively, and take ownership of building reliable, scalable solutions. Time zone requirements: Availability is required at least during 09:00 – 14:00 US Eastern Time. The remaining working hours are flexible and can be arranged earlier or later in the day. A split schedule (e.g., a few hours in the morning and a few hours in the evening) is also possible and may work well. What You'll Do: - Build and maintain backend services and frontend features. - Design and implement APIs, integrations, and business workflows. - Work with asynchronous processing, queues, retries, and scheduled tasks. - Design reliable solutions across multiple services and databases. - Use AI tools to navigate complex codebases, accelerate development, and improve engineering workflows. - Own features end-to-end: analysis, implementation, testing, code review, and deployment. - Collaborate with the team on architecture decisions and continuous improvement.
