This system is the backbone of one of Japan’s most important news and business information platforms.As an NLP Engineer, you will work on AI and machine learning features that help editors create richer, faster, and more accurate content. This includes NLP APIs, proofreading, translation, text-to-speech, editorial tools, and new AI-powered services.What you will work on - Build and improve NLP-related APIs - Develop machine learning models for editorial tools - Apply NLP to proofreading, translation, and content enhancement - Work with editors and engineers to improve digital content workflows - Help shape new AI-powered media services Must have - Knowledge of NLP, machine learning, or data science - Strong communication skills to work with editors and engineers - Business-level Japanese communication Nice to have - Experience with Japanese NLP - Experience building ML-powered products - Research or development experience in NLP - Experience with Python, TypeScript, React, Next.js, Django, or AWS Why this role is attractive - Compensation up to 11M - Fancy office in Otemachi - Hybrid working style Feel free to apply or reach out if you would like to learn more.
