Field Engineer, Public Sector

<p>As a Field Engineer on our federal AI projects, you&39;ll work directly with our largest public sector customers to make sure their experience with Scale&39;s technology is smooth and successful. You&39;ll help these customers build production-grade data pipelines, working closely with our Product, Engineering, and Operations teams. This means learning each customer&39;s use cases in depth and building the tools and documentation they need to grow.</p> <p>The role sits at the intersection of customer delivery, product, and engineering. The ideal candidate is a generalist software engineer who enjoys working with clients, takes ambiguous problems and turns them into practical solutions, and collaborates closely with Product and Engineering along the way.</p> <p><strong>An active TS/SCI clearance is required.</strong></p> <h3>What You&39;ll Do</h3> <ul> <li>Build end-to-end data integrations that sync customer data to and from Scale&39;s platform</li> <li>Work with customers&39; engineering teams to optimize data pipelines, including input on API endpoint design and input/output schemas</li> <li>Design and maintain playbooks, internal tools, documentation, and SDKs that set customers up for long-term success</li> <li>Partner with engineers and Operations to resolve technical blockers, debug delivery issues, and own technical escalations from customers</li> <li>Own the customer&39;s technical experience throughout their time with Scale</li> <li>Work with Account Executives and Product Managers to identify customer-specific feature requests</li> <li>Develop expertise in large language models, 2D image annotation, and API integrations</li> <li>Represent Scale and engage with customers at major events</li> </ul> <h3>What We&39;re Looking For</h3> <ul> <li>Experience as a
